There is no central theme to this series (hence the word, “fuckery” in the title). However, each photo features a piece of glass. Perhaps, I took the time to be transparent about some of my thoughts. As the photo subject, singer/songwriter Eva Agathis helped me convey this transparency.

The house in which she spent her adolescence was surrounded by trees. She was convinced her gloomy mindset was natural, and not from insecurities born from a mother-daughter relationship...She didn't tell her when she moved out. Thinking it was normal, she just did...In her new home, she woke to sunlight. What a beautiful thing. This release was a natural step in self-realization.
At a young age, she fell in love with her reflection. But until recently, she didn't find value in it.
She made an uncharacteristic attempt at a relationship. But after a few months, he ultimately said no. She was fucking annoyed. "What a waste of time!", she thought. She refused to give any thought to the real reason why... And yet, she neglected her own ambivalence; Was she truly falling for him, or was she forcing a romance out of desperation?
